hay larry you told me earler that the temp sensor for the computer was behind the ac compressor. i looked for it and could not locate it. is it under the bracket? i have a unconected wire thats probably for it? any help? mike

The temp sensor is right next to the water outlet pipe (where the thermistat goes). It is not easy to see due to the radiator hose and wire loom. It screws into the base of the intake manifold

They have 2 of those little bugers down there
pass alt side
1 wire guage sender
drivers side A/C
2 wires computer engine temp sensor
Thay like to hide these little important parts
thinking than you will bring the truck in
LOL
