Message: cats normally dont rust out unless the shell is really really rusted out.... you might look into getting a cat back system thats made for your truck besides trying to peice on together from another vehicle....

Message: Just go down to your local muffler shop and they should be able to get you what ever you need. I wouldn't use the Glasspacks because they sound like crap and you will sound ricey. I put on a 40 series Flowmaster and have gotten a lot of complements from people on the tone of a V6.

Message: Yes, go to a local shop. They will be glad to talk and help.
My V6 has a Magnaflow/Carsound cat, Flowmaster 50 Delta, and it sounds great.
