ok i need help. yes i do not know much about trucks and engines and such but i did do a search and found out how to get an error code. i have a 2002 dodge dakota v6 3.9L and today the check engine light came on and being i dont know what the heck im doing i went to the dealer and they told me it would be $92 to do a diagnostic on it so they could tell me whatever they wanted and i would have no clue. well i did my research and i think i found my err code. it is P 0456. can any one tell me what the heck this is and what it takes to fix it so that i am not some woman they can take advantage of please.

you can go to your local Auto Zone and they can pull codes for you for free.
probably the gas cap. the first and cheapest thing to check for that p0456.
