Sic - That TB should be a type 3... this throttle cable should work...

Tom, if he's go the TB from a '95, the linkage is totally different and the EGR ports in the bores will cause some "funny" idle and driveability issues.
Needs a TB from a '96+.
BTW: For those who noticed the Hughes Engines TB Description, it's got the Stage-II and Stage-III backwards.

v8 on the tb, everything but the linkage fits fine.

Well found out it was from a 96 5.9 so i think i am in the clear. But bernd, what part do i need? I am going to get it from you cause the stealership wants 30 and from you its like 26 with shippin i think

They're all made by Holley...name on the TB doesn't mean a whole lot.
The cable you need is the V8 version. The difference on the TB's is the throttle linkage (not TV or Cruise)...
V6 = Ball-Stud
V8 = Disc-Stud

cna i suggest some gen1 stuff, just a small amount, wish you had a K&N air lceaner on the site with a solution to our Crankcaser filter problem (new style filter or a adapter to go into new air cleaner) then i would have gone through you guys and gotten the right parts the first time around :-)
