Message: IAT means Intake Air Temperature sensor..
Passenger side of intake manifold , just to front
of throttle body..
Any 'moving" of it that I have heard about is
removing it from there and putting in the air ducting to the air cleaner. If you don't want to 'move' the original , a second one can be obtained to position in a desired location - makes it easier to switch back if desired or needed for emission testing ,etc..

Message: relocating the IAT will not effect emisions
reading colder air gives you more fuel and
timing more power
below 50 degrees it will trow a code
best place is about 6" from throttle body it
needs to pickup some engine heat this location
will change the reading from 180 200 to around
120
