Hey this is a problem i'm noticing, every performance part maker has forgotten the 239 v6 for a 92-96 dakota, is their any one who makes part for this engine, i want to rebuild it but with special perfomance parts, like a new crank cam, you know the works, can some one please give me a company or a site or somthing

You should be able to use some parts for the Magnum V8 such as the Pistons, Connecting rods and maybe Valves and Valve Springs, 1.6 or 1.7 Rockers are a popular mod, V8 throttle body, various company make headers for the 239 its a bit hard to find them but I think Gibson makes some Edelbrock does as well. Alot of the parts for the 5.2L willw ork with the 3.9L as its just a V8 missing 2 cylinders as for cams I do not know of any for the V6 but I'm sure you could have your current crank balanced and use internal balance damper and flywheel that'd give you more revs, and you could have the block bored and use flat-top pistons make the engine a 4.2L or somthing or ofcourse you can do a custom Supercharger setup.
