 Subject: Acceleration problem

what would make my truck bog down like its not getting enough gas, When I get on the pedal for more acceleration. Changed the TPS and plugs but problem still exist. Fuel pump is humming and new.89 dakota V6

Is truck ,rest of engine components 89 ?
If so , did you put a new EGR on ? and PCV ? Air Filter ?
Also check 'carefully' all vacuum hoses..
How, who did timing ?

EGR is new ...practically everything is new just changed fuel and air filter....timimg checked with light....

never had a CAT but will check the O2 sensor. Even thats new.Looking at the posts on this site I will install a CAT...but will pull and clean the O2 sensor....
