Message: I have a 2001 dodge dakota truck...It seems to "surge" noticeably around 55-65 mph. The RPM need will move from 1 1/2 up to 2 and then back to 1 1/2.. The Dodge dealership has had the vehicle 3 different times and says nothing wrong; except they gave me an expensive tuneup which didn't help the situation. It's a V6, auto, 2wd...Any suggestions. Thanks...Jim

Message: I dont know if your question has been answered yet. But I had the same problem it is your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). This sensor is located on the the drivers side front of the throttle body. Just unscrew the 2 torx head screws and pop the connector. Go to a reputable parts dealer and pick one up for 30-40 bucks. Hope this fixes your problem
