Message: All of them help once they are all done they
compliment each other
Do them in the correct order doing the exhaust
first befor intake is done will show a low end
loss
crank sensor mod
cold air
bigger throttle body
1.7 rockers
relocate IAT about 6" from body bottom of claner
or in tube
gasket matching intake optional
now exhaust
headers
high flow cat
low restriction muff
now add the MSD 6a multi strike ignition box
a tonno cover and all syn fluids also helps
stock I got 15 to 17
after all the mods 22 24
You must also be sure all your sensors are
working properly a lazy sensor will kill
mileage
good plugs like the NGK
FR4 stock heat range
FR5 1 colder
good cap like the napa mo26 and 28 cap and rotor
solid brass incerts
good wires like the taylor 8mm or MSD 8.5
there ya go start doing them in that order
when you get them all done they run great and
get good mileage
personaly I like the halo plugs but most will
not spend the money E3 are also giving good
resaults
champ autolite $.99 ea walmart
NGK $2.25 each
E3 $5.99 ea
Halo $8.99 ea
92 95 obd1 .035
96 up obd2 .040
stock ignition
with an MSD box .050 to .060
Have Fun

Message: Larry,
That was great.
You should save it in a text file so you can copy and paste in the future.
Thanks Larry

Message: Larry,
Do vehicles outside California have smog equipment that allows better mileage?
Is the petrol you guys use different enough to make much improvement?

Message: some cal trucks are set up a little diff but the
same mods apply most are the same there have been
a few rare ones like that with 4 o2's in the
system if you have the 1 or 2 setup its the same
I don't know about the gas but I have heard it is
a diff blend

Message: I can tell you that in MA, we've had 10% ethanol for months. I find no change in gas mileage or driveability in our 3 vehicles.
