Hey there guys, i wanted to know if you know of a site that sells aftermarket performance intake manifolds for the 00 3.9L. i saw a site a while back but have since forgot the name of it! any help is welcome thanks!

These are reworked stock intakes nothing a guy
with a little know how could not do there selfs
good for an easy 15hp starting around 2000rpm
and peak gain around 3000rpm this is the 14"
runner length
12" length raises this from 3000 peak 4000rpm
not what you would want for street use the 14"
is perfict

I've heard the runner length referenced before...I'm having a hard time conceptualizing this....how can you "shorten" the runner length on a stock intake manifold?

thanks guys, the 14" (stage 1)make power from 2k to 4k, and the 12" ( stage 2) make power from 3K to 5k. i think im gonna go with the stage 1. i rarely get the truck into 5K territory. only when hammering it on the on ramp to the freeway :) I would think the best all around one for normal stop and go driving would be the stage one anyhow! thanks again!!

the stage 1 is perfect for the street the gain
peaks at 3000rpm but these intakes will give you
more power right to redline
This guy just go to hughesengines.com and look at
the pics of the intakes you will see the runners
inside under the pletium cover and how they are
shortend
there are also pics on this site

I think instead of going through all those costly mods on the Dakota, I 'll just wait for the Challenger to come out in '08
