Message: I have been trying to fix my problem of NO O/D on my truck too.
I have read lots of posting regarding this subject and it seems like speed sensor in the tranny may be the problem.
Perhaps you should start there and see what happens. I am going to do that as well as soon as I have my truck back.
Let me know if you get the problem corrected.

Message: if you're really interested in fixing your problem with the tranny it takes some getting use to. Read up what a valve body is and further. Some companies offer their knowledge of trannys while thumbing through thier catalogs. It takes some effort but its doable. Go for it.

Message: 92 to 95 do not have the sensor and sol they are
RH hydrolic gov presure control
first you need to determin if its elect or mech
First check sols themself center wire and either
end both should be 200 ohm 180 to 220 is common
now jack the rear up with stands solid
have someone run ti about 30 stick a pin in both
outer wires 1 at a time whith it pluged in and
ground and see if it shifts if it does its elect
if not mech the center wire on the RH should have
batt volts when ever key is on
valve body stuck valve or sol
elect could be many probs
TPS
speed sensor lose shorted or caroaded connection
worst case and very rare the comp is bad
on the obd1 you can plug any V6 comp on and find
out the obd2 you cant get away with that because
of the vin code flash needed
