Message: Just wanted to share my experience with the E3 plugs. I installed a set of E3.48's 3 months ago, my truck did improve a little. Yesterday, I decided to try one step colder, the E3.64's. For some unknown reason my truck ran very poorly, stumbled, rumbled in the Cat and had no power. The guy at Advance Auto was a good sport and did a defective swap and gave me a new set of E3.48's, truck immediately started running great. I have a 94 SLT, headers, dual exhaust, 5.2 TB, under crank pulley, CPS mod and TPS mod. I figured it was worth a try to see if it would work on my truck.

Message: Larry not too sure how you came to the conculsion that the 3.64 is 1 colder, i crossed referenced the plugs to the NGK ones and the 3.56 is 1 colder, which from the website is what they recommend i put into my truck.

Message: Its I beleave 3.64
the 3.56 is stock I think
Cross it from an autolite 3923 1 colder
autolite 3924 is stock heat
That is how I came up with the e3 number and all
others used the same 1 colder e3 and they worked
well for almost everyone who used them
There are some trucks that do not react well to
a 1 colder plug they are very few and I have
never really took the time to find out why
