I am thinking of putting performance headers on my 03 dakota. My question is will a performance JBA y-pipe that fits a 5.2L fit my 3.9L? Will it be worth my money to buy it and what kind of performance gains am I looking at? Moving to the headers what will be better Chrome or Stainless and why? thanks in advance!

all make headers for the 3.9
stainless will never rust
my jba crome are like 8 years old and still
look like new
I think your talking about chrome or ceramic
coated which will retain more heat and lower
under hood temps also with the iron heads make
just a little more power worth the cost not to
me

i have gibson stainless there great and at a good price then go cutoff the 3rd cat and put in a flowmaster super 40 series muffler comming out before the rear tire

I have the same exact flowmaster setup. Dont you love how loud it is? does chrome rust later on and if so how many years?
