Message: i want to set it up to do burnouts but it wont do it in a straight line, not even if i power brake it and i know its got power. it will only do it if i turn the wheel all the way and nail it.

Message: as larry said "Why?" and you must not be paying for your tires either?
it can be done. there are many "open" rear ends in the salvage yards. in fact you may find someone to swap your LSD for their Open rear end.
good luck

Message: just get a 2200rpm stall converter than it will
light both tires up
I don't know about the rest of you but doing a
1 wheel wonder is embarasing to me
Driving up in a beutiful machine and squiling 1
tire not me
here's a plan change to some cheap fluid the
clutchs in the rear will be shot in 10,000 miles
get a front brake lock
As someone suggested trade a bone yard while
your at it get a 3.91 open than you can smoke
it even better
There are so many that want the antispin it
should be no problem hell you could even find
someone to change the rear just to get the

Message: ooohh i didnt relize that the anti spin also ment posi, i thought it was some weird safety thing to prevent it from burning out, cuz i had a 87 V6 and it would absolutely roast the tires. i just thought it was kinda weird that my old worn out dakota would but not my fresh new one. i just want a killer strait burnout...

Message: They used to use what they called a sure grip
which was the same as the old mopars charger
road runners
The anti spin is a little dif needs to make 1
rotation than it kicks in still is a posi unit
easy bolt on hp
bigger throttle body
1.7 roller rockers
25 to 35 wheel gain to be had here maybe thats all
you need

Message: get a set of harland sharp a true bolt in rocker
no adjusting
I am running the 3.55 sure grip in my 4x4 with
all the boltons some port work sensor mods
and I have no trouble lighting them up
still may put my first stroker motor and the 3.91
back in 267/305
the second one I built with 4.10 puts down
309/322 wheel

Message: Hi people..Looking for some help..I just bought a 2006 Dakota Quad cab 4x4.My first true 4x4.It has the anti spin rear end in it and whenever I am taking off from a stop the rear end shutters.Took it back to the dealers and they said it was fine..THINK I GOT THE SHAFT.My question is..Do I really need to worry about it,or is there a special oil to stop the shuttering,I heard of something like that..Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to try and fix it by my self.
