What would you charge me to rebuild it so I can get 27 MPG?

Message: 27 mpg thats a good number to shoot for
most of the V6's get anywhere from 20 to 25
It would be cheaper to get a low mileage motor
from the bone yard
There are also reman motors from places like
engines.com for around $1'200
around 250,000 miles they will begain to burn
some oil these motors use moly rings and if
the reg oil changes are done they last for
ever I have customers closing 300,000 miles
or more and still run great the only thing is
the timming chain and valve seals but you can
use the vivor synthetic seals they will run
for ever right from mopar around $16 for a set
Any way a rebuild is around a grand that would
inclued a $100 bore of .020 over and a crank
grind new pistons
Only thing is the shipping these days will
kill you freight truck only no ups or fedx
on this weight
