 Subject: clutch noise

I have an 02 dakota 3.9..5 spd 2wd, there is a "clank or thunk noise" when i release the clutch. I have taken it to the local dodge dealership and they claim that it is normal transmission noise. I have let two other very experienced people listen to the noise and they both agree that it is a throw out bearing going out....If anyone knows what this may be please help me out....

that TSB you sent me is for an automatic, I have a five speed tranny. Unless there is something that I am missing in the report? Can the same procedure be applicable to my situation?
