and if you have Qs on the install Larry can help you.
i think if you don't always punch it at 25mph and make the trans drop in 1st and torque the hole thing your in good shape. dont manual shift it, don't down shift it. if i need to pass someone at 60mph i first hit the overdrive button with out my foot on the gas so when it down shifts it does have the motor torquing it had i had floored it.

Message: i have a 2000 dodge dakota 3.9 v-6 with a 42re tranny,o/d stoped working, 81,000 miles ,tranny works great other than o/d. took it to shop, truck had no codes stored but the tech reset (computer)tranny side and o/d started working, did not last long,when i came out to leave the o/d would not work, no light/// can some one help me thanks jerry

Message: Jerry lance replace ur speed sensor on your tranny thats what happend to me i replaced it and it worked like a dream. Get a price check at Checkers and autozone if its over 40$ dont buy it carpartswholesale.com has it fairly cheap
