From south Louisiana. Ive been looking for a site like this. I just added an K&N air filter and breather to my 93 Dodge Dakota. Before I never had this air sound coming from my carborator or throttle body. I was wondering if anyone when they added a K&N had experienced sound changes? The sound is at low RPMS, and after it warms up real good its not as noticable. I thought some trash might have gotten inside or thats the sound the K&N pulls.

I don;t specificly know about K@N's but i have a
Airaid intake system on my truck and at around
3000rpms i notice a sound difference. a few of the
guys i work with have performance intakes on their
cars and trucks and they all say there was a
sounds change. what kind of sound is it? does it
get real throaty and deeper? thats what my truck
sounds like.
