exactly(or close to) what combination of mods would it take to make a V6 equal the power of a 4.7 V8 stock?? not looking for an unbelieveable 1/4 just matching rwhp and torque
anyone have a good answer(that doesn't include FI, N2O or weight reduction)

intense u said u can match an R/T w/o N2O. is that with or without ur weight reduction and would he have taken u out if u didn't hit the nos???

i don't think there is much you can do with that 4X4 to match a RT... i can stay next to them... but they can usually get me off of the line because of my open diff and 3.55 gears. main reason i stayed up with a few is because the only ones i have raced have been club cab and fully loaded... my truck is much lighter and likes the higher rpms more.

i know i can't touch an r/t w/o serious mods, I just wanna be able to hang with(or beat) my exact truck with a 4.7/5.2
how much rwhp do they have like 190??
how much does it take to give a V6 200 rwhp???

they probably put out a little less than 190 because of all the drive train...maybe 180... but you could get the same horsepower but wont come close to the torque which really gets you moving (especially a 4X4). look at all of my mods... that would be about 200 rwhp with out the juice...

mods add torque too, don't they?? to make a 3.9=4.7 you need 60 hp and 70 lb feet of tq supposedly gibson catback adds 30 lb feet and airaid adds 10 jet add 10 also(i know u cant add them up) but its would be possible to get 70 more lb feet...or if hp goes higher then v8 then it would make up for lacking tq
also the V6 weighs less
a v6 4x4 weighs like the same as a v8 2x4(assuming same cab type and transmission)

it does add torque but not to a V8 scale... the two extra cylinders help
