Okay i know somewhere on these forms we talked about this before but since i dont have the search command i wanted to asked again. What scanner can i use? Also i heard from someguy at work there a chip i can plug into my computer and then i can flash my own computer. Does anybody know what that is and if it will work? or what can i buy so i can flash my own computer?

Superchips 3715 i believe is the one for 3.9, 5.2, 5.9.

Yea but with superchips i dont think you can do like program the fact you added cam, rr's and increase timing can you?

No, you can't change any of that stuff. Superchips is basically for an internally stock motor. you're looking for a custom flash. don't know if that can be found and if it can i'm sure it'll cost$$$$.
unless you're going with a really radical cam i don't see why a stock pcm wouldn't handle it.

screwuphead, I think you can get everything you need to flash your own computer for only $12,000. It's probably just a bit cheaper to have someone do it for you.

$400 is pretty typical for flashing your computer. There is no cheap way.

B&G Chrysler KRC westers garage none of these will
do the obd1,s anymore obd2 yes 96 and up
ASE Chips used to also do custom chips they would
remove the chip and solder a new chip in I have
one of these ASE chiped comps running my 4.0
stroker over the 3.31 stock stroke
96 97 guys have only 2 choices jet or reflash
92 95 there is a V6 perf comp avalible
98 and up have all options including the
superchips
There are also smt6 and the unichip piggyback
systems were you can do anything you want with
the timming and fuel
AutoXray is an excellent scanner for the price
obd1 $150
obd2 $200
