Subject: 5.9L TB Installed, questions.... Help! IP: Logged
Message: Ok, just put in a 5.9L TB in my 6'er
and everything went in ok, sensors
but the cable that goes to the gas
pedal is different. It is so close
to just plugin on there but is about
a 1/4 of an inch to short. Any way to avoid
swapping out the whole cabel?
Got it rigged up now with some other wire
wrapping both sides together to make it
work for a few days
now you know thats..................

Message: Hey Sic,
I have heard that you have to get a V8 throttle cable to make it work. You can get one from speedtweeks or the dealer I think. I have yet to switch out my throttle body, but I definately think you need the new cable.
Just my 3.9 cents....

Message: Hey greenie,
I don't know of any "Clubs" around. About a month ago, a few people tried to get a meeting at Speedway together....but I had to work at the station and wasn't able to go. Besides, I got a 19 month old and a 8 1/2 month pregnant wife. Who would I be kidding if I thought I could acctually join a club? hehe.
Keep your eyes peeled in the General board...I think that is where you will see things.
