Subject: exhaust dilema IP: Logged
Message: I have 1992 exhaust manifolds to put on my 1994.
The 1992 have a larger exhaust port. 1 7/8 vs 2 1/8
I plan on having a shop fab a new y-pipe and install a new cat.
The dilema:
After I install the manifolds, I don't think the y-pipe will fit.
How far can I run with NO exhaust?
Any suggestions to make the old y-pipe fit until I get to the shop? The shop is about 15 miles away.
Thanks

If your worried about overheating valves or ticket too much, go to the ZONE get one of them cheap azz flex pipes, and two clamps (buy oversized) and just clamp the shizzle out of it to the stock. I know... I'm a hillbilly.
