Subject: Need V6 cam Question answered IP: Logged
Message: hey i have a 00 v6 dak, and have been thiniking about either swaping the cam or rockers.
First off who makes aggresive cams for the V6 i know there are a few makers.
i want a streetable one, but one that is gonna actually make power im gona feel. i know KRC has the 200 and 206. i dont know the difference between the two though. and who else makes them?
secondly i know the 1.7 rockers are the ones to go with if you stay with your stock cam. and im guessing 1.6 or stock rockers if you swap your cam?
i found comp cams makes 1.6 and 1.7.
Which one would give me the most power a new cam or new rockers? or both??
thanks!!

Both. If you want to try the 1.7's and later add a cam all you have to do is tell the cam grinder that you will be using 1.7's and they will grind the cam to compensate.

Message: The 2 most popular roller rockers are Harland Sharp and Crower. No special tools needed. They are both easy to install, but the Crower rockers require a little more time and effort to adjust then the Harland Sharp rockers. If you do go with the Crower brand, I would recommend getting there guide plates.
