this is regarding those magnets that you clamp on the fuel line to help the purities in the gas smooth out .. i think thats what i remember..anyways does anybody have these on thier truck and do u think it helped youif soo write back with some info thanx..dave

Doesn't work, don't do it. Heck, they even proved it wrong on mythbusters:)
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.

Dave i got one from JCwhitney called the Fuel Boss, it doesnt seem to help that much, i think i only got 1 more mpg using it, no more hp because of it, but for $20 it may be work the $20...cause over a long time it will pay for itself but its not something i would jump at i would save the $20 for someelse and just clean the injectors now and then cause really it just keeps the fuel lines clean.

Anything that gets you one mpg is worth at least $200 and a magnet isn't worth $200 and doesn't get you even a .1 mpg extra. They have been selling this BS for at least 30 years.

When I replaced the HORRID speakers that came with the truck, I ripped off the big round magnets.
Yep, when I saw the ad, I thought to myself,"self you can do that." So I did. Disconnected the fuel line, at the rail, and slipped the magnet over the line.
The improvement in mileage is exactly cancelled by the weight of the magnet.
