Message: ok so i found this stuff that ive never noticed before. something called water wetter and its supposed to make the motor run cooler because it somehow sticks to the metal better and protects it against corrosion and stuff. has anyone ever tried this stuff, if it works i was thinking about trying it.

Message: I use it.
Kinda hard to tell if it works.
I installed an electric fan, flushed the system, and use 40% antifreeze with the water wetter.
System stays cool in low 90s.

Message: It's like adding soap to water, it breaks the surface tension of the water which allows the water to make "more" contact with the metal surfaces, and transfer more heat. The easiest way to explain it...take a normal drop of tap water on a kitchen counter, if you look at it from the side, it has a "definite" shape, kind of oval shaped. Now add a small drop of dish soap to it, the surface tension of the normal tap water is "broken" and the drop of water that had a definite shape, now spreads out across the counter. This stuff doesn't better protect the engine from corrosion than 50/50 antifreeze, but it does improve heat transfer.
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.

Message: I havent used water wetter but i used the hyper-lube
stuff thats suppossed to do the same thing.
Does it work? Yeah but it definently isnt a miracle in a bottle.I tryed the stuff out when i had a partially clogged radiator in another vehicle and the stuff kept it cool enough to get me where i wanted to go.
