alright..i have an 02 dakota sport ext cab 4x4..i bought it about 6 months ago and everything was fine..it just recently started making a strange noise every now and then when i turned. itll sound like a loud deep popping noise, but itll only do it once. at first, it was just the right front..and now the left started doing it too. its not everytime i turn, but it happens alot. any ideas?

first thing that comes to mind: BALL JOINTS.
i just had mine changed under the DC furnished 10yr/100k warranty(upper ball joints only) on my '00 QC 4x2.
you can go to www.dodge.com and there is a place you can check on any outstanding TSB's or Recalls for your specific truck by using the last 7 or 8 digits of your VIN. or you could call your local dealer and if they're customer oriented enough, they should be willing to check for you.
i am thinking you fall under the recall. some yrs did and some as mine, got the 10yr/100k warranty.
