Subject: fuel injectors IP: Logged
Message: I've been thinking about putting in the five0motorsports fuel injectors but am worried that if I install those with the rest of the fuel system being stock, the engine might run rich. Is this true and if so, what else do I need to keep the fuel mixture where I need it at?

Message: as long as you get injectors with the same flow rate like 19 or 21 pound like what your stock ones are you will have no problems. the new injectors are just more responsive and and have better atomization.

Message: I plan to do mine as well. My thing is that my mechanic knowledge is not much. However reading the installation posted here seem to be straight forward. I talk with my friend about my plan and he said to disconnect/release the fuel pressure. I don't know what he's talking about. May be I do not need to this. Since the instruction posted here did not say do it.
Any opinion is much appreciated.

Message: Do yourself a favor and invest a few bucks in something like a Haynes repair manual. It will save you from asking dozens of questions and getting just as many different answers. It will pay for itself the first time you use it and likely save you from making a costly mistake or at the very least spending many extra hours because you didn't do it right in the first place. I've bought one for just about every vehicle I have ever owned.

Get a throttle body gasket remove body unbolt
rails and lift out may have to twist and pull
on each to get out than just pull the clips 1 at
a time and change the injectors put a little oil
on the orings they come new with the injectors
than line them up push down and bolt the rails
down reinstall body and your done

Message: If you havent done any mods to your engine then there is no reason to install #22 injectors . Stick with the factory #19 you WILL see some performance over stock even if they are still #19 due to the fact they have a better spray pattern and respond quicker

Message: You can always call up the guy who owns fiveO... I know he's gotten 23 or 24lb injectors on here for some guy on the performance section... Just because it's not listed doesn't mean it doesn't exist://
