With a turbo you are completly on your own

Why would you need to rebuild 6lbs boost
will run fine with no lower end mods

If you plan on going overboard than yes 10 plus
pounds than get the crank machined to except the
318 rods

Are you going to do the remote turbo setup? You should put it on that stroker motor!!!! You think it would still give a 40% or around that increase on you 300hp? That would be 410 horses though.... if you get that ill be copying you...lol...im already gonna do the the stroker later on after i finish the cam, rockers, and pistons.

I'm kinda wondering the same question. Is the supercharger worth the time and money? Even if I could find one used?

You could put any s/c designed for the 318 on the 3.9 with no problem.

Larry, has your machine shop started to sell the stroker crank for the 3.9. I messed up on my rebuild and didn't change my rings, so the block has to come back out. I'm seriously considering the stroker option now. Please let me know where and if I can buy the 3.9 stroker crank.

I understand I can use one from a 318/360 but is it worth it? Or am I better of swapping in a 318?

It's hard to say if it is worth it or not, only you can truely tell. They say there is no replacement for displacement, but Larry's truck is an example of a little motor with a big punch. Bottom line is it all depends on how much you want to spend, and how fast do you really want to go. It may be easier to go to a 390 or 408 stroker, for about the same amount that it would cost to build the v6 up radical. Myself I'm on the fence, I want a 390 stroker, but I've already invest a lot of money into my v6. Don't want to waste any money whichever way I go. Good luck making your decision.

There is a picture on this website that I think all on here should see... I made it my wallpaper on my computer just to keep my mind set on what kind of setup I'de like to run eventually on my truck... If this link doesn't take you straight to the picture, you'll have to kinda negotiate your way through the website, but watch out because it is all in spanish... Oh and it's a picture of a twin turbo 3.9l v6 that's used in what appears to be road course racing of some sort... Don't know, my spanish isn't that good...

www.flaviomarcilio.com.br

The thing is, is that the rest of the engine looks stock other than the twin turbo addition...

I'd be happy with a little more power than the V8's. I'd be content with a V8 but if I'm gonna keep my 6 I dont want to spend a butt load and then be dissappointed. I've heard adding a SC will put me right at V8 stock power and I'd want a little more. Especialy when I decide to get some bigger tires.

On the serious if you want V8 power get a V8, I got a dak with the 3.9 pretty powerful all things considered, on the flipside i also have a 5.9l Ram. totally different kind of beast, However i am looking for a stroker crank and a performance cam for the 3.9l, i didnt see any suggestions here and i am seriously willing to pay what it costs. However to answer the original question F*ck yeah supercharge the world. Its always worth it.
