Message: Does anyone have a diagram showing the mapping of the wires from the distributor to the spark plugs. I changed the wires and apparently screwed up the order. My truck is a 2002 v-6 3.9l Dakota. Thanks. (I'd rather not have to buy a Chilton's book.)
Message: 1-6-5-4-3-2 From the front of the engine on the left(passenger side) you have cylinders 2, 4, and 6 and on the right (driver side) you have cylinders 1, 3, and 5. As for the distributor, number 1 wire is marked on the top of the cap, so count the firing order from 1 to 6, then 5, etc going clock-wise around the dist cap.
