Message: Kyle,
What year is your Dak and how many miles are on it?
Also, does this only happen when the engine is cold?
Mike

A very common problem with v6 Daks is the IAC gets dirty. This will affect the way your engine idles when it is cold. I am not sure what year of Dak you have, but get some throttle body cleaner and a vehical repair manual. To clean the IAC takes about 20 - 25 minutes and a short Torx driver. Make sure to un plug the battery first.

Message: Yep, mounted on the back of the TB (closest to the firewall). Held on by 2 torx bolts (T-10 or T-15 I think) Make sure you don't twist the pintle on the end, just clean the mounting point on the TB and the IAC valve itself (you will notice ALOT of black carbon/oil build-up). If you still have problems, the IAC is probably bad.
If it doesn't fit, you're using the wrong hammer!

I think it is fuel related do you guys know what i sould look for this afternoon on the TB? does a 93 have a ica

Message: If I understand correctly, as you press further down on the accelerator at one point the truck seems to cut out, then gain its composure and take off. Sounds like something a TPS would cause.
At first, I too would suggest the IAC is the culprit. However, you may have two problems. Or one causing the other. Have you checked the TPS? Sometimes there's no signal at certain points. I don't recall off the top of my head what the specs are. I think it's something like 1.5 volts at wot. There should be a constant increase as the throttle is opened. If the TPS isn't sending the right volts to the computer, the computer is thinking the TPS is at a position that it's really not.
You may also want to check the timing. That came to mind because two days ago I had to adjust mine. Somehow it changed on me. Wasn't too far off but it felt sluggish and at times would all of a sudden accelerate then bog down.
Let us know what you find.
Mike
