Subject: Are Headers worth the $? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 03 Quad cab dakota w/V8 TB, 10" air cleaner, custom functional six pack hood scoop w/ custom air scoop tray, and a custom Flowmaster exhaust setup. Would I actually feel the performance gain after installing Gibson's headers? I am asking this becasue I am looking at buying a used pontoon boat and would be through the hills of tennessee. I need the best bang for the buck kind of deal. Also how much would it cost an exhaust shop to install headers? thanks in advance.

Message: before you install headers improve the intake
side some more
the 1.7 harland sharp are a true bolt in and
will give you 15 to 18 hp and 20 to 25 foot
pounds of torque at the rear wheels
now bolt the headers on and gain another 10 to
15 hp at the rear wheels than go tow your
boat
