Ok everywhere i've looked these things have been above $300. I got bored and while looking for a million other things for my truck I stubled upon these....CSP-S70047 at summit. Are these not the right kind or did I just get lucky and found a use for my credit card?

You wont regret it
changes the stock cam from
250/264 .432
to
254/268 .462
just warm your engine a little before you start
so the lifters bleed faster, watch the #1 cyl
drivers side front after the cover is off rotate
engine untill both closed at 0 on vibration
damper, now go to V6 mark bolt them in torque to
21 22 foot pounds, by the time you get the covers
back on they should have bleed down.
It may miss on a few cyls the first few starts
just shut off wait a min and restart they will
self adjust and your done. the valave cover gasket
if origanal is reusable.
Average gain at the wheels 15hp to 18hp 20 to 25
foot pounds of torque you will notice them from
1800 rpm on up right at high way crusing there
a great performance and fuel econo mod
I am running them in my 4X4 and they have a 8000
rpm rev limit

I just removed the valve covers and bolted them right in without finding any TDC or V6 mark on the damper. Doubled checked them all, removed the guide plates cause they won't fit with the Harlands and you don't need them anyway. Torqued them to 21 ft.lbs, checked again and started it up. Ran smooth as silk and now I am just waiting for the computer to adjust. Easy easy. Got them from Summit Racing.

been thinking about getting a set of these. too bad they are backordered. the last thing I tried to get off summit like that the date kept getting pushed back a week everytime it was up.

Don't tell me that about Summit. I ordered them on april 7th and the expected ship date is may 12. I really hope they ship then cause i'm startin to get that itch, you know, the one where you know you got somethin' comin'.

Ordered mine through Southeastperformance, John sent the order to Harland Sharp so I don't have a delivery date, it's been about 2 weeks. What is or where is the V6 mark I'm looking for. I know TDC but not V6 mark. Can anybody help me out?

After you hit the TDC both closed just keep
rotating slowly and the V6 mark will come up
on damper

so with these there are no adjustments that need to be done cause they get torqued into place? no checks for valve lash and so on?

I must have ordered mine at just the right time. I got them from Summit faster than the expected order date, maybe in 3 weeks and that was to my door in Canada. They sure make a difference. When the race season starts up around here, I will go over to the mobile dyno to check out the progress.

(parts i ordered, this was maybe like 2 yrs back)
when i called to find out what the hell was going on i had to deal with some smart ass kid!
flat out will not do buisness with them ever again

Sorry to hear about your' guys's luck ordering from summit. I ordered mine on Wednesday 04/05/2006, they were supposed to be in on Friday May 5th. Two days after I ordered them (4/07/2006) I got a postcard saying they were in and that I could pick them up. Went down there that day, picked them up, and installed them at my house. Maybe I got one of your guys's orders. :)

What kind of power did you get out of it? Anything noticable? I know they're supposed to be good just wondering what to expect. Right now it's between those or some rims.
