Message: Most locals tranny shops have them available along with most (if not all) parts stores. I got mine at AAMCO for about $120 or so.

A500 32 42 RH RE
A518 36 46 RH RE
The TCI 220500 does a better job with the valve
body 89 to 98 only and
you should make sure the
seal rings are good on the 1-2 accumulator or it
can cause soft and or bump shifts sonax
replacement in stock and fast delivery from
transmissionpartsusa.com
One other thing that will cause eradic shift
points is a worn TV sleave and plunger also in
stock at trans parts usa some have junk alm
plungers
Both shift kits around $110
New TV valve plunger and sleve $30
new 1-2 accm $30 for plastic junk $15 for a good
alm with steel seal rings like the old 727 904
at redrider.us a better way to go on the accm
All that info should hold ya for a while if you
get the new TV use the org spring and 2 shim
washers the 1-2 shift will be adjustible from
10 to 20 mph 2-3 25 to 35 mph light throttle
putting you up in the power band will also help
gas mileage 1800 to 2000 rpm you should shift at
light throttle 4600 to 5000 at WOT with this setup

Message: I paid $325 for my shift kit and Installation. I had it set for a Medium shift. Now it snaps from gear to gear rather than draging from gear to gear. Best thing I ever did for the transmission. Well that and the B&M Floor shifter I installed.

Message: I have a 97 Dak with an Automatic Trans. I was having a big problem with first gear slipping and so I started calling Transmission shops I found one that said every transmission the rebuild and sell they put a shif kit in them. The shop supplied the kit and did the valve body rebuild. No more transmission problems....
