Message: the cruise control light comes on but the cruise doesn't engage, then the light goes off. the vehicle has had a front end colllision and a local mechanic suggested that there is a sensor or sensors or a RELAY that trips or blows or whatever they do whenever there is a front end collision. ALSO, when you perform the self diagnostic on the truck, the code "77" shows and when I look up the code, it says "speed control power relay" yet I cant find one in the owners manual, or in the power control center under the hood, so i need a little help in finding whatever it is stopping my cruise from working.

Try that. 1130 here > I'll take a look in my book tomorrow. But. you need to say the year and engine and trany you have. My book may be the wrong year. Mines a 99 but I also have a 94 ram van. Might be close to same

Message: Sorry it took a few days getting back. I had forgotten I loaned my book to a suposed friend and seems he has moved. I can not locate him. This being the case, My 94 dodge van manual says the control relay servo is located directly under the right side headlight panel, engine side. Most likely you'll find yours there also., would magine by now you already know this.
