Subject: Fog Lights IP: Logged
Message: This makes me sound like a COMPLETE retard, but can someone tell me how to change my fog lights, I already bought the bulbs, and searched the internet for info on how to change the lights, but no luck. I changed my rear blinker bulbs today (all by myself...yay!) and am now cheaping out and wanting to change my burnt out fog lights, except I'm lost, and don't wanna pay a mech todo it for me. Can anyone help please? I'm trying to learn todo the "little things" for myself...this weekend I tackle the oil change, yay! Thanx alot!

Message: What model year? Are they OEM? In my '01 they sockets twist about a 1/4 turn then come out. They're accessed from under/behind the fascia.

Message: Sorry...it's a '97. As for the "OEM", I have no clue, the replacement bulb package just says 12V Halogen #893, thats what the book at Crappy Tire said I needed for a '97 so thats what I got. I'll try what you said, and if it doesn't work, I guess I'm s.o.l. Thanx for the help though. :)

Message: Make sure you don't touch the new bulb with your bare fingers. The oil from your skin will cause the bulb to burn out very fast. I think the packaging tells this, but who reads instructions?
