 Subject: check engine light

the check engine light on my '97 dakota does not work. does anyone know how to replace the light, or how much it will cost to have it done.

well for one... check to see if the ECM fuse is good.... if so to pull the cluster out you gotta remove the trim panelt from the dash that goes around the cluster and the radio, a/c controls... once that is removed its pretty simple... a few little 8mm or 7mm screws and a few plugs to disconnect and its out.... then you can look on the back of the cluster and check the bulb...
