Can you install that yourself? Or do you need to take it somewhere along with an "arm and a leg"
Is the 29 spline what we have (2000) 3.9L?

i'll prolly take it to someone else, unless its extremely easy (highly dought it). i have a summit mag. but i didnt see one in there for me, or did i? im not qutie sure what i have now and im not qutie sure exactly im looking for (what ratio and size?)

Look in the glove box,on the lid, look for-rear diff.(size here)then count the number of bolts on the diff. cover(take note of the shape).then go to powertrax.com-dodgetruckns.pdf(you need abobe acrobat reader to open it) look up your year and there you go.call summit tell them that number.
(this i probably what you need...97-00, 8.25 rear,29 spline, 10 bolts part#92-0382-2905)

approx. 150?It seems alot better, it does take some getting used to.(clutch in around turns,square'n your self up before you nail it,ect.)it doesn't make any noise now.it still has the backlash in it but i can control it.give me more time and we'll see!
