ECWFranchise,
1. Why are you changing it?
2. 15mm wrench, I think, moves the tensioner. Remember to leave room as it will go further left with the belt off.
3. Why do you want to change it?
4. Routing instructions are on the decal on the cross beam in front of your radiator.
5. Gotta wonder why you want to change it. I have 500,000 miles on two belts, and I changed the first because I put belt dressing on it which made the squeek worse. The original noise was caused by misalignment caused by the tensioner wearing out at the pivot and throwing the pully out of alignment.
Fact is, the serpantine belt is to be left alone until the (normal) cracking becomes a bunch of chunks falling off, it brakes or gets so frayed and ugly and slips so bad you must.
So, why do you plan replacing it?

the serpentine belt is around 15 bucks, you use a cresent wrech or a socket wrench, turn the belt tensioner (the welded bolt to the pulley) until the belt gives slack then take off the old belt, then just do the same for the install, only should take like 15 minutes if that, depending on your mechanical ability (make sure though that the belts line up with the grooves on the pulleys).

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon those with great vengeance and with furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know that my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee

I'd recommend having a buddy help you...not because it's super difficult, but because it can be a pain in the ass keeping the new belt routed (mainly around the crank pulley) while trying to take the tension off the tensioner pulley.

Just gives you a couple extra hands and makes things go MUCH faster with much less effort.

Shatto...I dunno why you'd wanna wait so long to change an old, worn out $30 (cost me $30 at Autozone...but I think they're much cheaper at other places) belt that it becomes a reliability issue. When it's that old, cracked, and there's chunks falling off of it...what happens when you wait a day too late and the belt snaps. Bam...you may be stranded out in BFE in the middle of the night trying to call someone who's awake and willing to come pick you up.

GB2000,
Thank you for making my point.
You said; 'what if?'
Who knows someone who actually had a serpantine belt wear out or break?
As I said, if there is something wrong, do it.
I had three seperate GM dealers, and we can all agree they want to sell service and parts, refuse to replace the belt on my S-13 (Sonoma to civilians), giving the explanation I relayed in my first answer.
Just trying to help Y'all-uns save a buck to buy gas with.
