Subject: djm balljoints IP: Logged
Message: i got a 2in drop lower a-arm from djm and im wondering if its possible to replace the ball joints on them?
i clipped a corner and the balljoint broke...

Anyway, I had the riveted ball joints cut,ground,sanded, drilled...I know, removed and replaced them with Moog's from the local parts emporium. They bolt on. Saves $400.00 or whatever outrageous price the dealer wants.

Message: well 20's didnt really help the fact that the ball joint popped out. but i found out that the djm pressed ball joint comes from like an 83-87 ford ranger, heh.
but yea i ended up bending the arm so apparently i have to replace the otherside too sense the arms are custom made so they may vary alittle from my old pair....
