My dakota has 190+K miles on it and they aren't all freeway miles. I am looking for a second car to save gas and a all-around beater. I found a car, a Subaru Justy for cheap. It has low miles but the tranny is a auto and has some issue with it. Haven't driven the car yet, but according to the add "when you first start it up, it will drive, but shortly after it warms up, gears do nothing." This doesn't sound like its that bad, could be wrong. I am wondering if there is a possiblity that it might be something other than a new tranny needed here. I am not familar with automatic trannys other than torque converter shudder and over heating. Please let me know if there are other possibilities other than a new tranny. I know its not much info. but its a shot.
