Message: OK I found a 93 trans but the junk yard told me that they showed only a 94-95 would work. I looked at the tranny they had looked indentical to me. Are the trannys the same or are the electrical hookups different.

Message: Don,
The hardest thing on any vehicle is 'just to the store' driving. Never gets properly heated up.
You might as well try one of those seal sweller additives.
If you need to go major, the few hundred for a transmission shop, not necessarily the Mr. Big franchise, will get you proper seal replacement and adjustment and confidance in the job being done right. And your knuckles will thank you.
I would fill er up with Amsoil ATF-4.
DODGENEWBIE,
I'm sorry. I meant you should replace the rear transmission seal as you followed Larry's consul.

Any recomendations for an exhaust system. The muffler is shot and I'm looking for a little better milage. Chip? K/N filter? Underdrive
pullies? Air swirlers for the throttle body?
Can I go bigger on the pipes? How big is to big?
Any online stores that are one stop shopping?

Message: Don,
I have, therefore tend to believe in, Gibson headers (much better performance and MPG) on my 98 3.9, auto. They say their exhaust systems are designed for where you drive (around 2,000 RPM). which makes sense to me as I rarely visit 5,000 RPM.
I have a Flowmaster. It's noisy in the cab. I've read there are better performers. It does give me the same MPG at 70 I used to get at 60.
The Tornado is in some parts stores, and guaranteed, and so worth a try. Report back if it works.
Do some research, I think you'll find Amsoil has air filters that have less restriction and filter better.
I checked with Gear Vendors and they laughed when I tried to buy one. It would have made financial sense for me, but you can buy a lot of gas for what one cost.
I once figured out, while on the throne, that just a few pages of stuff from the JC Whitney catalog would make me a hazard. I would be pumping gasoline onto the road because I'd saved more than I could use. I would have to be making it.
