Okay can someone tell me what type I might have? I bought the truck used and would like to know what they came with stock? I have a 2003 v6 club cab 4x4.

seems to me it would be either a 3.55 or a 4.10 i dunno for sure. get your vin and call your local dodge dealer they'll be able to tell you for sure, (including any options).

Look in the glove box, there should be a sticker in there that lists options. Mine has the gear ratio listed.

Okay I am not looking for my gear ratio.....I am looking to see if they came with a limited slid or any kind of locker in them. If so how can I tell if I have one with out opening up the differential.

It will say near your gear ratio on that sticker if you have a limited slip or not.

8.25 standard is 3.55 optional 3.91 or 4.10
sure grip older ones antispin newer ones
Power trax makes a good unit that requiers no
resetting of the backlash fairly easy to install
I went with the Auburn but you need to setup
the gears right or it wont last
I just recently put the auburn in about 7,000
miles now I rather like this setup $400 but does
need to be installed by someone who knows what
they are doing

When the noise became unbearable I had a limited slip installed. Now I'm ultra cautious when it rains.
Ps: It cost less.
