i just bought an 03 dodge dakota sxt, 3.9l magnum.
i dont know what kind of oil it takes, any one know. also what does sxt mean? cheap model?

No owner's manual? My 2001 3.9 takes 10-30 according to the book. I use Amsoil myself, but any good quality oil will work.
SXT is a just trim level, like Sport or SLT. I think the SXT was in between the Sport and SLT models as far as price. Look in the glove box, there should be a list of what comes with it.

give the VIN to a dodge dealer and they can pull a list of all options that it came with.
