Subject: weird noise help

i left my truck running today for like 30 min and it started making a ticking noise like at the back left valve cover and stop after i turned it off and drove it home and my oil pressure gauge droped to zero the other day and got it checked out and autozone scanned it and said it was some oil sensor (forgot the name)but does anyone have an idea?

No oil pressure..DON'T RUN IT!

The sender on the 3.9 is next to the distributor.
Wherever yours is, hook up a mechanical gauge to confirm,as your average electric one isn't too accurate, they say. Cost is $30.00.
I don't think a parts store will have a scanner that can actually read the sender output, just codes.
