Subject: Front end noise? IP: Logged
Message: When I make a left hand turn there is an occasional rubbing noise. It sounds like it is related to friction, maybe two suspension-like pieces touching each other while making slow, sharp left hand turns. I made a number of left hand turns today, but it only happened twice. This is the first sign of it. I have replaced the hub and bearing assembly on my truck before on this side and it didn't make this noise when it was going out. This sounds less mechanical ( metal to metal ) and maybe a combination of something else... educated guess. I am curious the possible causes for the noise and will look in on anything recommended to check. It seems a little more of a challenge being it doesn't happen every time I make a left hand turn. This could be fun.
Oh, and it is a 1989 4WD V6 Sport. If you got any ideas let me know. Thanks.

Message: Hey, dude, I had a problem a
while back something like this.
It was a broken shock absorber.
It would lagg enough to let tires
hit the body. I do have larger
than stock tyers though. G-Luck.

Message: check if the tire is rubbing the plastic fender liner. Does your problem happen on flat road, driveways, etc.? Are your good ol ball joints okay?

Message: Jack the A-arm and wiggle the tire.
Won't work with all the load off the suspension.
