Subject: Keep 15" star rims or ??

Okay, I've got a '99 cc 4X4 with those 15" factory star spoke wheels. The kind with that silly "Hot Wheels" design to them. I've always liked the factory fork spoke style better where 16"+ look best.

Tires need changing soon so shopping e-bay I can find 16" wheels I like for around $250 but the tire cost takes a hop. I called a local tire retailer and he quoted $501 for 235/75 R15's then $590 for the 70 R16's.

I'm stuck, keep the playschool wheels and fork out $500 bones or kiss off $840 for a better "look"? Very subjective problem here so I'm looking for supportive reasons to get the cool ones.... or not.

i have the 15's on mine and i have put on a 275-65-15's in place of the 235-75-15's hell of alot wider then stock but handles better and takes loads better during towing or hauling... make of the tires are a Hankook H101 cost around 60 bucks a tire but that was my cost.... any local garage should be able to get those tires cause they are very popular tire.... i recommended them to a customer i had and with the markup it was 276 for all four tires not including mounting and balanceing

Hmmm I like those babies - quiet, all-season and better priced then what I have seen. The Hankook website listed dealers by zip and the quote was reasonable.

Guess nobody knows the Hankook name - yet.

Thanks
