Message: I just noticed that partsamerica.com (Advance Auto) and napaonline.com have the SAME part numbers.
Prices are different.
You guys said Napa was a better pump.
But if they have the same number, wouldn't they be the exact same part??

Message: well they might same part numbers and same brand parts and all.... but everyone sells there parts at different prices.... me personally i wouldnt use anything other then OEM.... its just outta experience that i have received.... ive put aftermarket pumps in cars and trucks at my job and ive had a good number of them return cause the pumps crap out.... and put dealer parts in place of the aftermarket and never had a problem.... but the difference between the returnless and return line is easy to see.... look under the hood.... on the driver side you should see ethier 1 or 2 fuel lines.... 1 line setup means returnless and 2 line setup means you got a return line....

Message: A couple years ago I replaced the pump in my 93 with a unit from Advance Auto Parts. It was an EXACT duplicate of the original (Carter brand). At the time it was about $125, but that was a couple years ago.

95 and I believe under , use the Returnless setup.
97 and up , I believe have the "Return " setup.
For 95 and under , Autozone has a "MASTER"
USA built pump for $ 152.99 + tax..
That is what I got - working OK so far..

I got the returnless one, a Carter.
Looks like a good unit. It has an actual filter on the bottom.
Now I need some help removing the bed.
