Subject: TB Linkage IP: Logged
Message: Could someone clear me up on a couple items. My truck is a 2003 3.9 SXT
1. I thought that I read on this site or somewhere else that are TBs could have 3 different linkages, is this correct? If so could some provide pics and names of these linkages.
2. If there is 3 different linkages then when you order an aftermarket TB (Fastman or F&B) do you just tell them which linkage you have?
Thanks for the information.

Message: if you get either of those TBs for the V6, it doesn't matter what linkage. I just unbolted the whole linkage plate from the stock and replced it on the F&B. Didn't disconnect any of them. Fastman is modding a stock TB so it'll work the same unless you opt for a V8 TB.

Message: if your putting on a V8 TB the linkage yes is different for the V6.... if your getting a aftermarket TB the linkage will be set for your application so its a direct bolt on.... unless you take your V6TB and your V8TB to a local machine shop they can swap over the rail and make it work for the larger throttle plates....
