Subject: Evaporative Emission Control System Inco IP: Logged
Message: Anyone know what exactly this dtc means? Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow - cause if you do, that would be some help to me as i don't quite understand what the hell it's trying to say.

Message: There's a vapor canister up near the grill that catches vapors off your fuel system (which used to evaporate off carburetors into the air, years ago). A purge solenoid valve controls when and how much of that vapor to mix back into the intake. That valve is faulty, or what controls it is faulty, so that the engine is not receiving the proper vapor flow from it.
This may be caused by a cracked vacuum line, a failed solenoid, a loose or dirty electrical connection, a cracked vapor canister.
