I found radiator fluid on my passenger floor mats this weekend. It looks like my Radiator core is leaking for the second time. I'll have to rip it apart and replace it. I'm not looking forward to this, as I did it 2 years ago. Too bad I can't find the receipt for the core.
So, do any of you have any recommendations on which brand is least likely to die quickly? I have been looking at the Kragen and Autozone models that are limited lifetime, but are they really better quality [or at least the same] as the factory original? The original one didn't die for 5 years, but the replacement one died in 2, so I'm not thrilled about aftermarket stuff.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

chances are your going to get the same thing from most all parts houses. By far your best bet is a radiator shop. They will have the sorce to get you a good quality core and better yet they can build you a really good HD core that's going to live a long life.

Try the thicker better core from napa, i paid like 56 beans for it, been workin for me for the last 9 months no problems.

i'm not a fan of autzones parts
even their exhaust pipes are low qaulity
if you want cheap $$$ then autzone is the one
but yep you get what you pay for
you want quality spend just a few more bucks
and head to NAPA

Thanks again for all the info. I found out that the autozone part is a lifetime warranty, but I hate having it die every 2 years. I'll be looking into Napa parts also.
As for the system, I used the long-life prestone with a 2/1 ratio of prestone to distilled water.
